Romina Garcia Camargo

I am a graduate student advised by Dr. Alejandro Ribeiro at the University of Pennsylvania. My interests are the areas of wireless systems and signal processing. I have also participated in various projects involving robot swarms.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Universidad de la República, in Montevideo, Uruguay. During the last three years of my degree, I was fortunate to work at my school's Institute for Electrical Engineering. I worked as an assistant teacher for several courses within the topics of data networks and wireless communications. I also participated in various research projects as part of Grupo ARTES.

Research Interests

My research centers around the application of machine learning and optimization techniques to wireless systems. I am specially interested in the topics of digital communications and data networks, and employing Graph Neural Networks to solve relevant problems within these areas.
